1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how ProcureBox ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the ProcureBox Delivery App (the "App"), built for delivery personnel to manage and close assigned orders. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

Your name and mobile number, used to create and verify your delivery partner account.
Your account password, which is encrypted and never stored or visible in plain text.

Order and delivery data

Details of orders assigned to you, including order/indent history.
The One-Time Password (OTP) you enter to confirm and close an order. OTPs are single-use and are deleted from our systems once verified or expired.

Camera and photos

With your permission, the App uses your device camera to capture a delivery-proof photo when you close an order. Captured photos are uploaded and stored securely against the relevant order record and are not used for any other purpose.

Push notifications

With your permission, the App registers your device with a push notification service (e.g. Firebase Cloud Messaging) to alert you about new or updated orders. We store a device token for this purpose only; it is not shared with advertisers.

Usage and log data

We may collect basic technical information such as app version, device type, and error logs to diagnose issues and keep the App working reliably.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create, verify, and maintain your delivery partner account.
To assign, display, and let you close orders using OTP verification.
To send order-related push notifications.
To let you view your order history and profile, and change your password.
To provide customer support and troubleshoot issues.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the App:

With the distributor you are assigned to, so they can track order fulfilment.
With our SMS gateway provider, solely to deliver OTP messages to your mobile number.
With push notification and cloud hosting providers, solely to deliver notifications and store app data securely.
When required by law, regulation, or a valid legal process.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secured servers. Passwords are encrypted using industry-standard hashing and are never stored in plain text. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and order data for as long as your delivery partner account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward as required for record-keeping, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. Delivery-proof photos are retained as part of the order record for the same period.

7. Your Choices and Rights

You can view and update your profile details within the App.
You can change your password at any time from the App's profile section.
You can disable camera or notification permissions from your device settings; note that this may limit your ability to close orders or receive order alerts.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable time, subject to any legal or operational retention requirements.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for use by adult delivery personnel only and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years of age.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable law. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
